The Motorola Feedback Network was filled with comments coming from Motorola users who confirmed that their devices were functioning on the Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS upgrade.
It appears that the mobile phone producers has decided to skip the 4.4.3 version of Kitkat altogether and has gone directly to the 4.4.4 Kitkat variant. The Motorola handsets that run on the latest Kitkat upgrade are Motorola DROID Ultra, Motorola DROID Maxx as well as Motorola DROID Mini.
Not only will the users of DROID smart phones receive the update, but also the users of Mote G, Moto E and Moto X. For the time being, the only gadgets that function on the latest upgrade of Android Kitkat OS comprise Google Play Edition and Nexus.
The new upgrade is going to bring a series of improvements of the phone’s performance, its camera and of the Visual Voicemail. The Android 4.4.4. Kikat OS also improves the security and the stability of the devices on which it runs.
Many expected for the Motorola to be among the first companies to use the new Android upgrade on its gadgets. M7 and M8 belonging to HTC will start running on Android 4.4.4.Kitkat OS in late July or in the first days of the month of August. It is said that the upgrade will run on other HTC devices starting with September. However, these are the only producers that have made it public that their devices run or are going to run on this new Android upgrade.
The free space needed for the Android 4.4.4 Kitkate OS to run is equal to 285 megabytes. The installation of the software is not quite a piece of cake. You need good internet connection, fully charged battery and patience.
In order to see if the new Android software is running on your phone, you need to verify the Settings options. Some Motorola possessor claimed that the new software could be found with the help of the upgrade called Over-the-Air. Users, who have not been given the upgrade yet, need not to worry since the upgrade does not roll out all at once. The notifications might be received during the next days.
